Thanks You Everyone

First and foremost, I want to say thank you all who came out and shared our special day together. It really means a lot to me and alice that so many people came out, and we are so happy that a lot of you enjoyed the day, Me, Alice, Angela and her crew, Mai & Billy, My mom, Precious & Tenisha (my sisters), Isiah (my brother) & Miko & Rei, Victoria, My cousins, Sunny & Ron, Mike & Jo, Allen, so many of us came together to make this special for everyone. If I forgot your name, my bad, but thanks everyone for everyones help. So first, we must give thanks to all them.

And yes ,that is the ring from Lord of the Rings...... The One Ring, To Rule All

We want to thank everyone again for coming out, some of you came from FAR away to be there. (Texas, SF, Long Beach, WA, etc). We know the drive to Lancaster is not an easy one, especially when you are stuck in LA traffic. I realize it was kind of hot, but I’m glad a lot of you stuck with it. I hope you guys liked the setup and décor, we did try to go all out as we could. I saw a lot of smiling faces, especially after the alcohol started sinking in, and I’m glad a lot of you enjoyed yourselves (hopefully all of you did). Thanks pastor Huff for a beautiful and fun sermon, he flew all the way from WA at my request to do this wedding, I really want to thank him. I want to thank the picture crew, hopefully you had fun and thanks for all your directions. I want to thank the camera crew, hopefully we got some fun material for you to work with. I want to thank everyone for all your kind gifts and thank you for making this day special.

FOR THOSE WHO COULDNT MAKE IT
Dont worry, it happens, and for those who werent invited, please realize we were VERY limited because of financial reasons we had to cut many many people, family and friends alike to stay within our limited budget.

ORIGINALLY we were going to stream the wedding online, but ran into a Internet connection problem. Basically I couldn’t get a strong connection where I was (took 30 mins to download 1 song). So we had to scratch that idea, I do apologize ALL who wanted the stream.

I’m sorry I didn’t have time to sit down with everyone like I wanted to say Hi, I did try to make my rounds a couple of times to say whats up and spend time with people. Thanks everyone for coming out friend wise, we all need to hang out again and soon. If you want a quick updates of what I’ve been doing “click here”, for a basic quick update of my life, if you’re curious (Not safe for work).

I am kinda upset I didn’t get to take many photos myself, so I do ask, if you have any photos, if you can send them to us someway somehow, We want to put up all the photos in 1 GIANT gallery, to get everyones experience.

PLEASE Upload photos here (via Google Drive/Docs. Upload your favorite, Best photos, Right now I only have 5 GB of space), I can download them from Facebook, but those pics arent high in quality

Now for the Frequently asked questions:

Why was I DJing my own wedding?
Number of reasons. 1, I love music. 2, I wanted to theme it around high school older music, mostly because a lot of high school friends I hadn’t seen in years were going to be there and I wanted to make it LIKE a high school reunion. 3, Im just that tight. 4, we had a dj but he canceled, and on a limited budget, I was cool with DJing, and again, I love doing it. If I have a chance, I’ll be DJing my own funeral.

Why was I wearing a Bandana?
A lot of people suggested "Thats you" when I had it on, I figured, Might at well keep it on at that point. I think people accept the fact that I'm a 'weirdo' and anything I do, people will just say "Thats Sadre".

The pictures?
The Photographers were awesome, and if you don’t know, finding good wedding photographers for a price we could afford (being poor and all) is NOT easy (I’m talking they normally run 2-5K EASILY!). So far, photos have been amazing, and more than that, they were so easy to talk to, and they seemed to be enjoying the wedding just as much as we were which makes it that much better, http://veazteephotography.com/, but moreover, it would be awesome if you would do us a favor and like their Facebook page “http://www.facebook.com/veazteeleang” I’d appreciate it, and I know they would.

The ‘pink’ candies?
We used to get those back in high school, sold by the French teacher “Mr. Porter”. Well I vowed to figure out how to get the candy myself, because it was basically like crack.

Eiffel Strawberry Bon Bons, we found them at “CandyWarehouse.com”
http://www.candywarehouse.com/products/eiffel-bon-bons-24-piece-box/
(we actually visited the place. I thought it would be more like Willy Wonka And the chocolate Factory. You know, walls made of Candy..…. But no, just a corp office. They do have candy and shirts available). You cant really just walk up and buy candy, you have to do it online and they will process the order in 1-2 days. LUCKILY, I ordered the candy there, and he handed it to me right then and there. Yay Me!

The Food?
The catering was also awesome and reasonable price, although we did have issues with them (mostly rudeness, and others) but the food was GREAT, so I have a hard time holding it against them. But they could have been a little friendlier, but again, the food was amazing so I gonna go ahead and promote them. They were friends of a friend, so if you want their contact, I mean the food WAS good (compared to all the other places we looked at for that price).

The tent and stuff?
Tent, Tables, Chair rentals was all AV rentals out in Valencia. Basically the only Rental place near Lancaster. The tarp we were standing on I bought from lowes (30x50). (http://www.avparty.com/)

The Arch Thing?
(Chuppah Image Search)
Its called a Chuppah (pronounced ‘huppah’ I think). It’s a jewish type of Arch-way. We didn’t pick it because it was Jewish, But Alice really liked the design, and we were originally going to design an archway, but she tended to like the Chuppah more. We were looking into rental prices, but they ranged from $200-$700 for RENTALS. Screw that!
We bought PVC pipes from Lowes, Linen and Candles from Ikea, a gold dangle thing, Lanterns to stand it on… it was cheaper to build and use that material elsewhere. The most expensive thing were the lanterns, but the pipes + linen + decors were less than 100 combined. Lanterns were 15 each. It came out pretty nice I thought

The bear Toss?
I was trying to come up with something creative, but normally, no guys want to stand up, especially for a pink bear, so we added money to make it interesting. I like to try to keep it FRESH!

How much did you end up spending?
I really do consider this to be a DYI wedding. We came up with clever and cool ways to make decoration, to keep people entertained, etc. Like I mentioned earlier, DJ canceled so we had me DJ, that saved us money. The Venue being at my moms house saved us a lot of money. Decorations were costly, but we found lots of clever ways to save on that. Our decorations came from either Walmart, Ikea, or Downtown La, or order a lot of the stuff online.

The average Wedding is 15K. I dont know actual numbers of how much was spent, but moving around numbers allowed for us to have some fun.

rough breakdown.
Tent, Tables, Chairs plus setup/delivery was below $2K

Decor, Flowers, cacti, crystals, lights, vases (not including the Chuppah) was below $1k

DJ equipment (which was my PC, speakers borrowed from school, Sound board + cords) was below $100

Food was below 2K
Apparently This was about 3K, I was mis-in

Candy $40

Alcohol was $400 (there was a lot of alcohol that wasnt even touched)

Other Randoms (gift box + tarp [the flooring] + papers we gave out + the random pictures here and there + sparklers + bear) $500

Ultimately You'd have to ask Alice. Just letting you know, Money is not what makes a wedding, time, effort, creativity, and people you can really depend on coming thru is what makes it nice.

Update: According to the wife, my estimates are ALL wrong, so ask her!

The Sparklers & The table decorations?
Ask Alice.
